Guillaume de Candolle is a member of the Geneva Bar and of the Swiss Bar Association.
A law graduate from the University of Geneva, he worked for several years in a major law firm active in international arbitration before being hired by a multinational in Brazil, where he spent almost two years working in market development and market intelligence before moving to Germany, where he worked for a major law firm also active in arbitration.
On his return to Geneva, Guillaume de Candolle completed his legal internship with a renowned law firm before joining a firm specializing in legal advice and representation, where he was able to develop solid experience of the courts.
In January 2016, he founded Etude DE CANDOLLE AVOCATS at 3, place des Eaux-Vives in Geneva.
He is mainly active before the courts of Geneva, French-speaking Switzerland and the Swiss Confederation in criminal law, including the Juvenile Court, family and inheritance law, and adult and child protection law.
Alongside his legal activities, he developed an entrepreneurial flair at an early age, which led him to launch a number of businesses in a wide variety of fields, making him an ideal point of contact for entrepreneurs in areas ranging from contracts and companies to the most common aspects of intellectual property.
As a deputy judge at the Criminal Court, he is required to sit in particular at the Correctional Court.
Guillaume de Candolle is fluent in French, English, Portuguese, German and L.P.C. (langage parlé complété francophone).
